Privacy Policy

This page is maintained by Aura Tech LLC to explain how AuraTicks ("we", "us") handles information when you use our trading journal application. It is written in plain language and is not a certification or independent audit.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information — your email address, authentication identifiers, and any profile details you provide.
  • Trading data — accounts, orders, fills, journal entries, notes, tags and chart images you upload or sync.
  • Billing information — subscription status and plan. Card details are handled by our payment processor and never stored on our servers.
  • Technical data — basic log and device information needed to operate and secure the service.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to provide the journal and analytics features you request, to sync trades from connected platforms, to process subscriptions, to respond to support requests, and to keep the service secure and reliable. We do not sell your personal or trading data, and we do not use your trading data for advertising.

3. Third-party services

AuraTicks relies on a small number of processors to deliver the service. Each receives only the data required for its function:

  • Tradovate / NinjaTrader — when you connect a brokerage account, we use read-only API access to retrieve your accounts, orders and fills. We cannot place, modify or cancel orders.
  • Stripe — processes subscription payments. Card data is submitted directly to Stripe and is never stored by AuraTicks.
  • Hosting and database infrastructure — stores your application data with row-level access controls scoped to your account.
  • Email delivery — sends transactional messages such as sign-in links, password resets and billing notices.

4. Data storage and security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored in an access-controlled database. Application records are scoped to your user account so other customers cannot read them. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, and you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.

5. Data retention and deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may export your journal at any time and request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Some records may be retained where required for legal, tax or accounting purposes.

6. Cookies

We use cookies and local storage for essential functions such as keeping you signed in and remembering your theme preference.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated through the application or by email.
